Second Record of Arcanıa brevifrons Chen, 1989 (Decapoda: Leucosidae) from the Mediterranean coast of Türkiye

Abstract

The present study reports the second occurrence of Arcania brevifrons Chen, 1989 from the Mediterranean Sea coasts of Türkiye, based on specimens collected from trawl bycatch in Iskenderun Bay during 23.10.2025. This record, which includes 2 males and 1 female, provides detailed morphological descriptions of the species.
