Seminemacheilus lendlii (Hankó 1925) (Actinopterygii: Nemacheilidae)’nin Osteolojik Karakterizasyonu

Abstract

Ülkemize endemik bir cins olan Seminemacheilus türlerinin doğru tanımlanması, dağılım alanlarının belirlenmesi, habitat tercihleri ve biyoekoelojik özelliklerinin tespit edilmesi ile bu cinse mensup türlerin korunması ve sürdürülebilir popülasyonlarının sağlanması da mümkün olacak ve türlere özgü eylem planları uygulanabilecektir. Bu hedeflerin gerçekleşmesine katkı sağlamak amacı ile planlanan bu çalışmada Sakarya havzasında dağılım gösteren Seminemacheilus lendlii bireyleri elektroşoker ile toplanarak formaldehit (%4) ile tespit edilmiş ve Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi hidrobiyoloji laboratuvarında şeffaflandırma ve boyama prosedürüne tabi tutulan bireylerin iskelet elemanlarına ait bölümler çizilerek karakterizasyonu yapılmıştır. Böylece bu türün teşhisinde faydalı bir araç olarak kullanılabilecek osteolojik kısımların şekli ve yapısı hakkında bilgiler sağlanmış ve ayırıcı karakterler tespit edilmiştir.
