A review: One of the most dangerous biological invaders of the Mediterranean Sea, silverstripe blaasop, Lagocephalus sceleratus (Gmelin, 1789)

Hatice TORCU KOÇ, Zeliha ERDOĞAN

Abstract

This review is an update of the biological findings of Lagocephalus sceleratus sampling obtained from Mediterranean Sea. The first publication on this species was over 16 years ago (Sabrah, 2006), and a number of new studies have been going on. This review which consists of additional records is important to track the populations of L. sceleratus.
