A faunistic research on Diptera in almond orchards of Manisa and Muğla

Abstract

This study was conducted between 2014–2016 in the almond orchards of Datça, Fethiye, Seydikemer (Muğla) and Akhisar, Kula (Manisa) districts. During the study, 17 species belonging to 8 families belonging to Diptera were identified. These species were identified and recorded as Machimus setibarbus, Bibio hortulanus, Chlorops interruptus, Chlorops pumilionis, Chlorops serenus, Thaumatomyia notata, Lyciella rorida, Agria affinis, Scathophaga stercoraria, Eristalis arbustorum, Eristalis tenax, Episyrphus balteatus, Eupeodes luniger, Paragus quadrifasciatus, Syrphus ribesii, Hybomitra bimaculata, Hybomitra ciureai.
